An outdoor cat enclosure has become standard kit for Australian cat owners, and for good reason: it satisfies the containment expectations most councils now have while still giving an indoor cat real sun, real air and something to watch.
This is the flexible end of that market. It combines a play tent with a collapsible tunnel and can be assembled five different ways — as an open tunnel for supervised play, a loop for running, a standalone playpen, or a connected area using both. You are not locked into one configuration, so it keeps earning its place as your cat's habits change.
The mesh is high-density and scratch resistant, which matters with a cat that tests the walls, and the base is 210D Oxford with a waterproof backing, so it can sit on damp lawn without wicking moisture up through the floor. Zipper connections keep the panels secure rather than sagging open at the joins.
It folds flat into the included carry bag, so it stores behind a door and travels to a holiday house or a friend's yard. Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets all do well in it.
Sizing: check the assembled footprint against your patio or balcony before committing to a configuration. Provide shade and water throughout — mesh still heats up in direct summer sun.
Care: wipe the mesh and base with a damp cloth and let it dry completely before folding away. Never store it damp or it will hold odour. Always supervise, and never leave a collar on a cat inside the enclosure.
