Foldable Mesh Pet Playpen for Kittens & Puppies

Whether you are giving a litter of puppies somewhere safe to grow up or just need a contained space while you cook dinner, a soft playpen solves a problem that crates do not: it gives room to move without giving your pet the run of the house.

This one folds out into an enclosed space with mesh walls on every panel, so you can see in from any angle and air moves freely — important through an Australian summer, when a solid-sided enclosure turns stuffy within the hour. The floor is wipe-clean, which is the single most useful feature during the first weeks with newborns.

For a pregnant cat or a mother with kittens, the enclosed height keeps wandering pups in while still letting her step in and out easily. For puppy owners it doubles as a safe zone during that stage when everything on the floor becomes a chew toy. Set it up in the living room, move it to the verandah on a mild day, then fold it flat and slide it under a bed when visitors arrive.

Sizing: check the panel height against your pet at full stretch — an escape artist will find the top faster than you expect. Choose the larger size if you are housing a litter rather than a single animal.

Care: wipe the floor and mesh with a pet-safe disinfectant and let it air dry completely before folding away. Never store it damp, or the mesh will hold odour.
